LATOSA ESCRIMA
Latosa Escrima has been a major influence at
PAMA since 1982. Our Kenpo Karate system has
fully integrated the concepts of Latosa Escrima
and brought our Kenpo to a higher level.
Our Escrima program is a requirement for PAMA Kenpo curriculum
students. Escrima is also offered separately in the form of private lessons,
workshops & seminars, short courses on specialized topics, and as a fully
accredited intermediate and advanced level training. We also offer an
Instructor Certification Program for individuals, groups and school
owners.
PAMA offers intensive courses in wooden weapons, bladed weapons,
Latosa Concepts and transition from weapons to empty hand applications.
We consider ourselves to be an "anti-grappler" school, using weapons and
empty hands to avoid being on the ground. Latosa Concepts also strongly
address the issues of why we are studying Escrima and what it means in
our lives.
